So…what is the Monday Poll?
Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with bit clicky buttons. It’s just a listing of five more or less random concerns I’ve been publishing on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007). I like reading your answers, as well as it assists me get my week off to a great start. ?
The nail polish Edition!
1. Matte or shine finish?
Glitter finish…but I DO NOT look ahead to taking it off, since shine is such a pain to remove, ugh! I have no patience for it.
2. cream or shimmer?
Cream, please.
3. would you rather…skip your base coat or avoid your top coat?
Skip the base coat. top coat, at least for me, makes more of a difference in wear time.
4. nail polish color(s) you wear the most?
Jade as well as pastel greens, infant blues, teals, purples (all shades!), as well as nude shades of peach, rosy taupe, pink as well as beige.
5. nail polish color(s) you wear the least?
Black, red as well as orange.
6. When was the last time you had a manicure or a pedicure?
Honestly, I can’t remember. I believe it might’ve been the Gel Manicure incident from 2018?

7. Which fingernails do you usually paint very first — the ones on your left, or right hand?
I always utilize my left hand to paint my right hand nails first, since when I was a teenager I checked out an article in a magazine (remember those?!) that stated you should always begin by painting the nails on your non-dominant hand first.
I don’t keep in mind the logic behind it, however I believe it had something to do about lessening your possibilities for smudging.
8. Accent nails — yea or nay?
I utilized to be a “yea,” however now I’m a “nay.”
9. have you ever used press-on/stick-on fake nails?
Actually, I have! They are available in handy if you have an event or something to go to as well as you run out of time to paint your nails.

P.P.S. hope you’re having a nice day so far. ? exactly how was your Fourth? camping at remove Lake was fun. I watched a household of deer foraging wild blackberries by our campsite yesterday morning, as well as it extremely almost brought me to tears.
