FOTD candy colored bright Blue With metropolitan Decay Chaos

Rosie-Pose would like to notify you that she is queen of whatever within paw-striking distance, including board games. That board game above is candy Land, and, FYI, the artwork in the latest version is…slightly terrifying. (Or is it just me?) ADVERTISEMENT Speaking of candy, the electric blue on my lower lash as well as waterlines totally reminds me of sweets from my youth. It’s metropolitan Decay Chaos 24/7 shadow Stick in Chaos, a vibrant matte blue with a touch of pearl. The formula’s long-wearing as well as waterproof, as well as it sets truly quickly. Transitioning from Antiperspirant to Deodorant: Saje tranquil Warrior Deodorant

This is the second part of a three part series, to follow my journey of transitioning from antiperspirants to deodorants.  My first attempt with deodorants was with Consonant Skincare Dealkalizing Deodorant, which wasn’t too successful.  I made the changed to the Saje tranquil Warrior Deodorant and have been using it for the past month: Saje is a Canadian wellness brand that I’ve recently discovered – I evaluated their aromaBreeze nebulizer not long ago – they have some terrific gems at very affordable prices. This product is available at their stores or online, at $12.95 for 100ml. Saje declares this product is: One of the most effective, all-natural...

Tarte Tartelette Tease review

I’m finally in the position to do a review on this palette, since I used it exclusive for the entire 2 weeks I was on vacation, as it was the only eye shadow product I packed with me. The Tarte Tartelette Tease palette normally sells for $25 but I bought it during the April VIB sale for $21.25. It contains 6 shades, each weighing 0.85g for a combined total palette weight of 5.10g Prior to this palette, I had not used much Tarte makeup. Actually, I only own the lone Tarte blush in exposed which I don’t much care for...

Sheet mask stock

I’ve amassed a great deal of sheet masks.  They’re an affordable pick-me-up that have ended up being much more easily offered in Canada in recent years.  For those of you who don’t understand what sheet masks are, they’re pre-soaked disposable paper masks that delivers concentrated skincare (usually serum) to the face. After freshly cleaning the face, the sheet mask is applied for roughly 15 minutes as well as the staying serum is enabled to soak into the face, followed by routine moisturizer.  They’re an Oriental charm staple, as well as it used to be that I bought mine solely on the internet at sasa.com, however nowadays, with The...

Makeup and beauty blog Monday Poll, Vol. 718

So…what is the Monday Poll? Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007). 1. Sheer, medium or full coverage? Oh, man. Karen from 2014 would be shaking in her Fergie boots to hear me say this now, but sheer, mostly. occasionally I’ll venture into medium coverage, but even that feels heavy to me now. amazing how a few years (and a global pandemic) can change your...

Blogmas Day 24: who would you kiss under the mistletoe?

It’s finally Christmas Eve! Today is the final collab Blogmas topic, and again, we have Kaily to thank for this one: If you could be under a mistletoe with anyone who would it be? [and you can’t say your SO] Well, ok then! Instead of listing hunky Hollywood men, I’m going to do something different (would you expect anything less from me?) – I’ll list some lady crushes of mine.  For some reason all of my recent girl crushes have been from spy films released this past year – here goes: Alicia Vikander She appeared in The man from U.N.C.L.E. and at the time the...

Japanese makeup Haul!!!

yeah you were all waiting for this, weren’t you! Personally, I didn’t think I went completely overboard with makeup shopping. For one thing, I was supremely worried about wandering around Tokyo at night by myself to go shopping. Why I had to go shopping in the evenings was because my days were filled with sightseeing! and then, by the evening, I was so tired from walking around all day, I didn’t spend too much time shopping.  Also, I was shopping rather critically: lots of Japanese makeup is super sparkly and sheer. If it wasn’t something I’d truly use, I passed on...
